The Rumpler CIV was an outstanding two seat aircraft of the First World War. Rumpler had learned much from its predecessor aircraft and provided the Germans with an excellent aircraft that served them well from the spring of 1917 until the Armistice. The Rumpler CIV had excellent speed and a superb high altitude capability. The Rumpler CIV was armed with 1 forward firing synchronized machine gun and 1 ring mounted machine gun for the gunner/observer. The maximum speed of the Rumpler CIV was 109 mph at sea level. 1 model aircraft made from 1/16 inch Ash wood, included 1 flight stand made of 1/8 inch Birch plywood and two magnets.
