The Albatros was the workhorse of the German Jagdstaffeln during 1917. The Albatros DIII was an excellent aircraft but had two main flaws, the wing and strut design was such that in high-speed dives the upper wing could become damage leading to catastrophic failure, also the position of the radiator could lead to scalding the pilot if the radiator was damaged in combat. This model can be used as either an Albatros DIII or DV as the external appearance of these two aircraft was almost identical.

1 model aircraft made from 1/16 inch Ash wood, included 1 flight stand made of 1/8 inch Birch plywood and two magnets.

Some assembly required.
